Dr.Louis Mazzarelli

Dr. Mazzarelli graduated from Yale University and completed his MD at Albert Einstein Medical School.After residency and fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, he joined Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. 

Dr.Mazzarelli's deep love of teaching and desire to make prostate imaging widely accessible to community physicians inspired this conference in one of his favorite destinations.

Prostate Imaging in the Bluegrass complements the prostate care educational paradigm by making the administration and interpretation of prostate imaging accessible to community radiologists and multispecialty providers. 

 

When not teaching prostate imaging, Lou loves traveling with his family, cheering on his racehroses, birdwatching, ancient numismatics and enjoying an Old Fashioned.

Dr.Angabeen Khan

Dr.Khan is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi Pakistan, completing residencies in both Nuclear Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital as well as Diagnostic Radiology at the Hospital of St.Raphael’s . She subsequently completed a fellowship in Body and Neuroradiology at the Hospital of Saint Raphael’s and is double board certified in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology.

 Dr.Khan is an accomplished teacher and lecturer, currently serving on the LI-RADS action committee.

Dr.Khan’s strong interest in prostate imaging coupled with her combined nuclear medicine and cross sectional backgrounds have been instrumental in building a comprehensive prostate cancer detection, diagnosis and surveillance program, incorporating cutting edge molecular imaging.

She has participated in many international humanitarian missions, bringing her diverse talents and smile across the globe.
