Dr. Mazzarelli graduated from Yale University and completed his MD at Albert Einstein Medical School.After residency and fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, he joined Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
Dr.Mazzarelli's deep love of teaching and desire to make prostate imaging widely accessible to community physicians inspired this conference in one of his favorite destinations.

Dr.Basu graduated from Vassar college before completing his medical degree at University of Vermont and residency and fellowship at the University of Rochester. He has since practiced at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital where he and Dr.Mazzarelli developed a community centered prostate imaging program with multihospital and multispecialty cooperation, performing the first in bore MRI biopsies in the region while building a comprehensive prostate cancer detection, diagnosis and surveillance program incorporating molecular imaging.
